DAY 1
Pick up from Airport or Bus Station in Nyaung U and
transfer to Hotel.
Go to Mani-Sithu Market (Open: 6am-5pm) and explore.
Transfer back to hotel and rest.
DAY 2
Wake up and have breakfast. Get ready to tour.
Transfer to Bagan Archaeological Zone, Old Bagan (Part 1).
Explore all below (provided time allows):
i) Shwezigon Paya - Get acquainted with the 37 Nats;
ii) Kyanzittha Umin – a very different temple
iii) Wetk vi-in-Gubyaukgyi - amazing
murals
iv) Gubyauknge
v) Upali Thein – The best frescoes in all Bagan;
vi) Htilominlo Pahto – late Bagan style temple;
vii) Bulethi- excellent views of Bagan
Then proceed to Tharabar Gate and head south.
Explore all below (provided time allows):
i) Ananda Pahto - four
giant buddha statutes carved with teak
ii) Ananda Ok Kyaung – one of the best temples in Bagan
iii) Bagan Golden Palace (Open: 9am-4:30pm)
iv) Shwegugyi – Highly recommended visit
v) Thatbyinnyu Pahto – The most beautiful temple in Bagan
vi) Nathlaung Kyaung – last remaining Hindu temple
vii) Pahtothamya
viii) Mimalaung Kyaung
ix) Gawdawpalin Pahto – rundown temple feels more authentic
x) Bupaya for river view
xi) Mahabodhi Paya – A replica of indian temple
xii) Mingalazedi Paya – The last of a great temple
xiii) Myazedi
xiv) Visit lacquerware shops in Myinkaba. Have
lunch there.
xv) Climb up hidden stair in Manuha Paya, see
bas-relief figures in Nan Paya
xvi) Pyathada Paya- not so crowded sunset view.
Transfer back to hotel and rest.
DAY 3
Wake up and have breakfast. Get ready to tour.
Transfer to Bagan Archaeological Zone, Old Bagan (Part 2).
Explore all below (provided time allows):
i) Dhammayangyi Pahto (Bagan largest temple)
ii) Sulamani Pahto (known as Crowning Jewel) - internal ornamental work
iii) Thabeik Hmauk
iv) Terrace of Dhammayazika Paya
v) Leimyethna Pahto – a unique whit e pagoda
vi) Pyathonzu – unusual designed temple
vii) Tayok Pye Paya – best stone carving pagoda
viii) Thambula Pahto
ix) Kyat Kan Kyaung
x) Nandamannya Pahto – a peaceful pagoda
xi) Abeyadana Pahto - Intricate murals
xii) Kyasin
xiii) Nagayon – a little different from other temple
xiv) Somingyi Kyaung
xv) Lawkahteikpan Pahto
xvi) Shwesandaw Paya - for the best sunset view.
Transfer back to hotel and rest
DAY 4
Wake up and ready to tour.
Pick up by Balloon over Bagan truck or other similar hot air balloon pick up transportation to balloon site.
Riding Hot-Air Balloons by Balloons Over Bagan or other similar hot air balloon companies.
Flying around Old Bagan.
Flying around Old Bagan.
Balloon lands and transfer back to hotel
Have breakfast in hotel.
At noon, transfer to Nyaung U's jetty and join a boat ride to 3 temples at
Ayeyarwady River.
Explore: (i) Thetkyamuni;
(ii) Kondawgyi Pahto in hill
side; and
(iii) Kyauk Gu Ohnmin Cave

Transfer back to hotel and rest
DAY 5
Wake up and have breakfast. Get ready to tour
Transfer to Mount Popa and explore:
i)
Mother Spirit of Popa Nat Shrine - foot of Mt Popa
ii)
Mt Popa Temple - start walking on the steps at the covered walkway up
iii)
Popa Mountain Park - towards the rim of the volcano crater
Have lunch at Mount Popa.
Transfer to Salay & Chauk and explore.
After exploring, transfer back to hotel and rest.
DAY 6
Wake up and have breakfast. Get ready to check out.
Check out hotel.
Transfer to Airport or Bus Station in Nyaung U.
End of tour.
